Accidentally deleted WOW6432Node

Long story; Microsoft Teams is **** and I was trying to clear it out and make it fast again, along the way I was also removing some bloatwares from old files/games/etc. Then I accidentally deleted WOW6432Node from the registry I realized it was a Microsoft folder because of all the things on it, it didnt disappear from the registry immediately.

I have very important files and I tried the solutions to wait for the recovery boot x3 restarting the laptop.

I need help if theres a way to reinstall that specific part of the system. Since I have no idea why I dont have a system restore point on my Laptop but I dont have one so that option is gone along with "Reset this pc" option, it doesnt want to do it.

I have an old SSD that has almost all my files and the same license its 128gb I had to upgrade to a 500 gb ssd is there anyway to copy the WOW6432Node from there to the 500 GB one?

Other solutions that wont involve deleting my files is welcomed please.

I'm using a windows 10 laptop. It does not have a DVD for windows it came with it already installed.

Can I do this with a USB Boot drive without removing all my files?

I recommend that you use your restore or Windows 8 DVD that came with your computer / notebook. Start the computer from the DVD by pressing the "F2" or "Del" keys, change the "Boot Priority" to the DVD, press the "F10" key and OK. Place the Windows 8 DVD in the Driver.

Tip: The boot access keys may change depending on the equipment manufacturer.

When you see the message “Press any key to boot from CD or DVD ..” or “Press any key to boot from CD or DVD ..”, quickly press any key for the system to boot from the Windows 8 installation media

Configure the language and keyboard layout and click Next.

On the next screen, click on the option Repair your computer, located in the lower left corner, to access the Windows Recovery Environment.

    Click Troubleshooting.

    Then click on Advanced Options.

Finally, click Automatic Repair or depending on which installation disc you are using Startup Repair.

If a screen appears asking you to choose the system to be recovered, click on the Windows 8 or 8.1 option

Wait while the Windows Recovery Environment analyzes your system settings and tries to correct what is wrong. At the end of the operation, the computer automatically restarts.

Restart the device and check if it shows the same message.

This procedure, although very basic, usually solves the main startup problems of Windows 8. Using it before trying other solutions can save a lot of time and effort.

Note: If you do not have the Windows DVD, I recommend looking for the manufacturer of your equipment, as it is an OEM license and the process must be done by the recovery partition.

If this solution helped you, please mark it as an answer.

I hope I helped, for more information post again.

    See you!

    Hi Sean, how are you?

My name is Lílian, I am an independent consultant and I am very happy to help you.

If you are unable to enter Safe Mode, you may have to repair the system. It seems to me that only in Safe Mode would you be able to restore your computer to an earlier point in order to reset the deleted registry key.

To try to enter Safe Mode:

.Turn off the computer manually by pressing the power button.
.Start the computer by pressing the power button.
.On the login screen, tap or click the power icon in the lower right corner.
.Press the Shift key and tap or click Restart.
.On the Select an option page, tap or click. Troubleshooting and tap or click Advanced options.
.Tap or click System Restore. The computer will restart for System Restore. Select your account to continue.
On the System Restore page, tap or click Next.
If you are prompted to specify a disk to be restored, select the hard disk and tap or click Next.
.When the restoration process is complete, tap or click Restart.

I hope I helped, thank you, participate in the evaluations :)
