Hi, I tried to get help on this issue here, but at that time I did not know what was causing the screen to flicker. Currently enabling Virtual Machine Platform causes my screen to flicker post-boot. The screen does not flicker when I disable the Virtual Machine Platform feature.

I have solved the issue. The thing is WSL and the virtual machine platform do not work well with fast-boot. I was able to find it because the WSL was not being initialized properly due to fast-boot. Turned off the fast boot now everything works perfectly.

I am facing the same issue. Whenever I enable the Virtual Machine platform feature along with WSL 2, the laptop works fine until restart and after first boot, the screen starts flickering as I move the mouse pointer.

    Hi,

    What are your system specs?

Also, please confirm whether your CPU supports virtualization and that you have enabled it in BIOS.

    Thank you.
