    Please see my comments in MaryPeck1's 19-Jul-2019 thread Message Suspected as Malware about a similar error for BCryptDeriveKeyPBKDF2 / bcrypt.dll.  These BCryptDeriveKeyPBKDF2 / bcrypt.dll errors are often associated with the McAfee file McUICnt.exe which is included in a wide variety of McAfee products. Does your error message show the name of the executable that is generating this message, and if it is McUICnt.exe have you ever had a McAfee product installed on your system, including free McAfee utilities or browser extensions like McAfee Security Scan Plus, McAfee Site Advisor, etc.?

    If you suspect you've accidentally installed McAfee Security Scan Plus or some other PUP (a potentially unwanted program like a browser hijacker, toolbar, adware, etc. that often come bundled with installers for free software) and can't uninstall it from Control Panel | Programs and Features or your browser add-on manager then I've  included instructions <here> in MaryPeck1's thread for installing and running a Threat Scan with Malwarebytes Free.   If you have a Win XP or Vista OS be sure to use the download link I provided for Malwarebytes Free v3.5.1 (the legacy version for these older operating systems).

    If you require further assistance also include the make/model of your computer, your operating system, default browser, and antivirus (product name and version) in your next post.
