Windows keeps crashing with bugcheckcode 292 (Bug Check 0x10: SPIN_LOCK_NOT_OWNED)

I built a PC two days ago and it keeps crashing (5-6 times a day) with this bugcheckcode.

I couldn't find any information about this bugcheckcode (0x10: SPIN_LOCK_NOT_OWNED) online.

The official documentation only says "This bug check appears very infrequently."

I've already done the RAM and harddrive tests that come with Windows and they turned out fine.

Heat is also not a problem.

I'm a bit clueless at this point. Anyone can help?

    Hi JMS92

That is one of the rarest bugcheck codes and even Microsoft do not provide any detail on that error, you have performed all the correct troubleshooting steps, and perhaps it may be best to return the components and get replacements, because if one of those are faulty, it is impossible to find which one without dump files . . .

    Hi Dave, also no Memory.dmp

Any clue as to why that could be? I've already looked through ten articles about minidumps and followed all of the steps. Still no minidumps.

    Version 20H2 (OS Build 19042.630)

Would any info from the Event Viewer be helpful for you?

    Hi JMS92

It is strange your system is not producing minidump files, those settings are correct, and it is very hard to diagnose the underlying cause without a dump file, check in the Windows folder to see if you have a Memory.dmp file and if so, upload that . . .

Click your Start Button, type winver and hit Enter

On the resulting dialog, what Version No. and build No. of Windows 10 are you running?

Hey Dave, Thank you for getting back to me.

Even though I have configured Windows to create minidump files, it doesn't.

    I don't know why.

It just crashed again and the blue screen said "WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR".

The percentage indicator was stuck at 0%, so maybe that's why no minidump file was created?

    Hi JMS92

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

Please check to see if your PC is producing any minidump files, I will check those to see if they provide any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes . . .

    Open Windows File Explorer

    Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy any minidump files onto your Desktop, then zip those up

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.), then choose to share those and get a share link

Then post the link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .
