DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

2020-11-09T09:00:07+00:00

Most of the time it crashes while I stream video on Brave Browser. But the first time it occurs after making dual boot (Ubuntu along with Windows).

I already make a fresh installation of Windows twice.

This is the minidump output

Hi arabhiar

All your minidump files indicate it is the device driver (nvlddmkm.sys) on your Nvidia graphics card that is causing the system crashes

If that driver is already fully up to date, then perhaps an older version of that driver may be more compatible with your system/version of Windows 10

1

Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

Expand the Display Adapters Section

Right click your video card and choose Properties

On the Driver Tab, choose 'Roll back Driver'

Restart your PC once done . . .

2

If that option is not available or does not resolve the issue, go to the support page for your device on the manufacturers website, then download and install the video driver they recommend, it may well be an older version to the one you are currently running

    Hi arabhiar

The Nvidia graphics device driver is still being indicated as the cause of the crashes, you should source an older versions of that driver, they are far more stable than the new drivers . . .

I do whatever you said. I try to roll back, but since the "Roll Back" option was faded I downloaded the latest Nvidia driver from the website and fresh installed it. But after 6-7 hours I am getting BSOD of code VIDEO_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT_INTERNAL.

    Here is the dump file

    Please look into it.

    Hi arabhiar

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

    1

Have you tried streaming on a different browser, and if so, does your system still crash?

    2

Please check to see if your PC is producing any minidump files, I will check those to see if they provide any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes . . .

    Open Windows File Explorer

    Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy any minidump files onto your Desktop, then zip those up

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.), then choose to share those and get a share link

Then post the link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .
