Hi everyone,

Please help, any time I try to download an app on my laptop which has Windows 10, or add a mail account, or manage any fixes in my notification bar, I get a blank screen! Please see picture below where I’m trying to add my email to the mail account.

All updates have been done and everything is up to date.

Done this, fixed some problems with some apps but I’m still having trouble. It’s still giving me this screen below when I try and fix my account.

    Okay AishahB

    Run the troubleshooter for the Windows store apps;

    1. Press the Windows keys + I
    2. Select Update and security
    3. Go to the Troubleshooter option
    4. Click on Additional Troubleshooters
    5. Click on applications from the Windows store
    6. Run the troubleshooter.

Wait for it to do the scan and fix some bugs and then reboot.

Please run a clean boot to see if the problem disappears there. This boot starts Windows with a minimal set of startup programs and drivers so that you can determine if a background program is affecting your game or program. Here are the steps that indicate the process.

Here is a link that explains how the process is:

Let me know if the problem is solved in that way.

    I'll be on the lookout

Hello, AishahB I'm an independent advisor and I will try to help you today.

Regarding your query, this situation may be due to some damage to the system files.

To try to correct it, disable any third-party antivirus software you have and then run the following commands aimed at repairing possible errors in the system:

    1. Press the Windows keys + x
    2. Select Windows PowerShell (Administrator)
    3. In the window that appears, write the following commands as they are shown and in the same order:

NOTE: You have to write each command one by one and give Enter:

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    DISM.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup

    sfc /scannow

The above commands scan all protected system files and replace damaged files.

It may take a few minutes.

Note: Do not close the command prompt window until the verification is completely finished. Once the process is complete, the results of the exam will appear.

At the end you restart and tell me if the problem was solved.

Let me know if the problem is solved. I will be attentive to your answers

I hope this information will be useful.

    Jesus C.
