Does Intel Wireless Adapters Burn Out?

Dear MSCS

I am adding some other ideas to the issues I posted some time ago.

Can there be an issue with buttons of the keyboard that connect my WiFi on this device?

I say this because on the Windows10 settings interface, the WiFi notification cannot be found like the other internet connection options!

I was going to show a picture, but it would not upload.

"I have been having issues with my WiFi (Wireless) connection for about a month or more now; I have spoken about it in a few threads here, but today it is prominent to the point of not being able to reinstall cannot be found and turned on.

Can a network card burn out?"

Windows updates introduce changes over time too amd devicr manufacturers provide driver updates to keep up with them. If a device has been discontinued windows updates can disable the device since the driver that was in use is no longer compatible.

Yes, that could be an issue, but if it has been running since Win10 first was introduced with the Insiders program and then after reinstalling Win10 for nearly a year now.

Would it pick a time like this to become incompatible?

I would understand more if the network card was able to become unstable.

You mentioned that your device is discontinued, it may also be that windows 10 (latwr updates) may not be compatible with the card.

    Dear Jaspreet S

Thank you for that, I have never come across this before.

I have already purchased the network card for my PC, but I have purchased two types.

My device is discontinued, but I upgraded things like SSD, HHD and RAM and it runs like a high speed train till this issue arose.

This is not acting intermittent no more, it has totally stopped and cannot install or update.

So I am presuming that if I put a new Network Card, whether the one which is the same as what is native to my device or an upgrade that is claimed to sustain the future use of my device, I will get back to my work and study.

    Hi Jeffrey,

I am Jaspreet Singh an independent advisor.

While it is rare network cards can go bad. If you are having issues with network card missing from device manager intermittently without any change in os itself it is an indication of network card being faulty.
