After I just updated my computer, I saw a bunch of new files including "ProgramData" folder, it contains 3.26 Gigabytes size but it doesn't consume my storage. If I delete this folder, will it crash or disable some of my apps or data? Will it increase my storage space?

    Hi Akirasans

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

The ProgramData is a system folder, you should not attempt to delete that folder, all your software will stop working, that folder was always there, you just could not see it and the reason you can see it is because you have hidden files showing

On the View Tab in File Explorer, untick 'Hidden Items' and that will hide that folder again
