Blinking square for indicator

Hello, I have been bothered recently by the fact that on some apps, which didn't have it before, I know appear to have the insert indicator instead of the usual line telling you where you will write. It doesn't seem to work like having insert activated, but it's really annoying when I am trying to type in a specific place. I use a windows 10 laptop computer, and would love a solution.

    Please try this if it helps.

    Press Windows key+I to open Settings

    Select Ease of Access then Click Text cursor on the left side

    Under "Change the text cursor appearance", Move the slider all the way to the left
