I have the same exact problem. The camera freezes, sometimes I cannot join calls on Meet or Zoom and the camera stays off, and videos on YouTube take ages to load. I tried updates, even reinstalling Windows: nothing changed. It worked perfectly fine in the past.

Hi PhilipLinley, I am an independent advisor.

I will do my best to help you.

When making a video call, does the camera work?

Check if Windows Update has updates available, also from Microsoft Store

    Regards.

Enter the settings and then Applications and Features, in the list of applications locate the Camera App and proceed to click to see the specifications and at the bottom Select Reset.
