Due to the pandemic, I am working from home and for some reason, when I log into my remote desktop for work, my mouse doesn't work in one of the programs I need for work. It works fine in all the windows/programs, but for some reason, it doesn't work when I open this particular program. I just find it weird that it works on my personal desktop and remote desktop until I click on this one particular program. Any ideas on what I should do to correct this?
Edit: I am in the process of trying to see if my work's IT department can figure it out, but I just wanted to hear from others in the meantime.

Try the following on the remote computer: go to Start > Settings > Devices > Mouse > Additional mouse options > Pointers > under Scheme select a different scheme, e.g. Windows Black (System Scheme).
