What type of backup are your doing, a Win 7 version of an Image backup or File backup..? If not, you might describe you are starting and options chosen..

I follow the basic steps to backup my computer. I press backup now and the screen indicates that backing up is proceeding. This only lasts a few seconds then the backup switches off and the cancel button changes to back up now. this just continues and the backup never gets underway.
