File folder name
When I'm trying to type a name into a new file, it will stop me after so many characters. What is going on? How do I fix this?

There is a hard limit on the number of characters (usually 260) any one folder/file can contain. This limit is determined by how deeply nested the file is within the file system. Technically, a filename length is a combination of the folder path + the file name. A file in the path C:\SomeFolder can be longer than a file in C:\SomeFolder\SomeSubFolder...
