Hallo,

I already asked the same question, but the consultant stopped helping me and the problem is still not solved.

Here the former thread:

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows\_10-windows\_install/bsod-error-kmodeexceptionnothandled-after/ca7b7be1-3177-42ea-902e-2bf370e06dde?messageId=1ceabcc5-0b07-4d6e-880d-8b368f5b466b

And here are the dump files:

https://onedrive.live.com/?id=93226AE4D1D286CC%2120871&cid=93226AE4D1D286CC

Can somebody please help me?

Thanks in advance

Guido

    Dear Iasrael,

I just tried the Step 3, but when I requested the startup fix it was not possible, the emssage was that the startup fix was impossible!

I already tried 4 times to eprform a clean install, but the problem still remains, which is very weard because, as i wrote in the previous thread, before doing a clean install the system (with Win10 version 1909) was working perfectly, without any problem, and i did not change any hardware, apart the use of the Corsair Lighting Node Core, which is now by the way completely disabled (even not connecting it at all to the MB did not solve the problem, so this cannot be the source of the problem).

I guess that the cause can only be the version 2004 of Windows 10, which was installed by default while doing the clean install.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Guido

    Hi,

I noticed that you are experiencing an error with a blue screen that displays the error message: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED.

To assist you with an effective and assertive procedure, I would like to check the following questions:

What is the make and model of your device?
What is the message or error code that appears next to the message: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED.
At what time does the message occur? Example: when using the Internet, when playing a video or game or even at startup.
Anyway, for a possible solution, I suggest that you perform the steps below:

    Step 1: Safe Mode.
Start the computer by holding down the shift key and repeatedly pressing the F10 key.

As soon as it boots in safe mode perform a simple system boot, as some program at startup may be causing this conflict.

If in safe mode it shows the same behavior, skip to step 2.

    Simple Boot

Press the Windows key + R type MSconfig and click ok.
In the System Configuration window click on the services tab.
At the bottom of the screen leave the option to hide all Microsoft services and click disable everything.
Click on the programs startup tab and click on open task manager.
In the task manager on the startup tab, disable all non-Microsoft programs, close the task manager, click ok in the system configuration and restart.
Note: after simple boot you will need to repeat the above procedure without safe boot and enable one program at a time to find out which program is causing this conflict and uninstall.

In case the above procedure did not work I advise you to go to the computer manufacturer's website and update all the drivers.

    Step 2: Clean Boot.

In some cases, the external device or some CD / DVD can cause the system to boot which can cause this behavior, so I advise you to start the computer without any external device such as a USB stick, external hard drive, keyboard, mouse and CD /DVD.

Test and see if the behavior is repeated.

Step 3: Boot repair with media.

Perform boot repair using installation media or a recovery drive.

If you do not have a media, follow the procedure to create a repair USB drive.

To create a USB recovery drive.

Download Windows 10 on another computer, stick a USB stick on the computer, open the command prompt as an administrator and perform the procedures below:

    Diskpart
    List disk
    Select disk 1
    Clean
    Create partition primary
    List partition
    Active
    Format fs = NTFS quick
    Assign
Copy the Windows 10 image files to the bootable USB stick.

Insert the Windows installation disc. Restart the computer and watch the screen to boot from the CD. When prompted, press any key.
After clicking on any key, as requested in the previous step, the Windows Installation screen should arrive. Click "Repair Computer".
You will be taken to the "System Recovery Options" screen. Just select the language and click "next". Proceed from Step 3, requesting the startup fix.
The computer will show a screen with the recovered system errors. After that, just restart.
This is a very useful and indicated procedure when you face problems with Windows startup, however, even if these behaviors are still showing after these steps, it will probably be necessary to format the HD and do a clean installation of Windows, but it is worth trying it before.

If the answer helped in any way, please mark it as an answer, if your question has not been solved, please post again.

I hope I helped, even more!

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you’re facing issues with Blue Screen on your PC, and I certainly appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue.

We will certainly look into this for you.

I was unable to access the link shared by you for the dump files, It would be great if you can share the dump files once again.

Meanwhile, since the PC is not crashing in Safe Mode I would suggest you to perform Hardware Clean Boot on the PC, and see if you’re able to boot normally.

    1. Press Windows key + R. This will open Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for Run.
    2. In Run dialog box, type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
    3. Now expand the Display adaptersPrintersSound, video and game controllers.
    4. Now right click on the drivers inside the section and click on Disable Device.
    5. Now click on Yes
    6. If asked for restart click on No and disable all the drivers.

If the PC is not crashing after performing Hardware Clean Boot, then you can try enabling the devices one by one to identify the driver that is causing the issue. I would prefer enabling the Graphics Driver first, as in most of the cases it turns out to be a Graphic Card issue.

Let us know if you need any further assistance, we will be glad to assist you.

    Regards,

    Dear Israel,

    thanks for you reply!

    Cocerning your 3 initial questions:

    1. Here my configuration:

    MB: Asrock P67 Extreme4 Gen3

    CPU: Intel i5-2400

    SSD: Samsung 830 256GB

    RAM: 2x4GB TeamGroup

    Win10 PRO build 2004

    GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6870

    1. Here one exemple of crachdump analisys done by WhoCrashed:

    crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\092620-6734-01.dmp

This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x3DDF40)

    Bugcheck code: 0x1E (0xFFFFFFC0000094, 0xFFF80638723836, 0xFFFFA80FA1AF88F0, 0x5A)

    Error: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

    file path: C:Windows system32 exe

    product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System

    company: Microsoft Corporation

    description: NT Kernel & System

    1. The BSOD just appears after 5 or 6 minutes, I don't do anything, just start the PC, no actions, it just crashes!

I already tried the step 1, boot in safe mode. It does not crash, but when I performed the simple boot, as described in your post, it crashes!

I also performed the step 2 clean boot, but it still crashes.

I will try the step 3 and will post the results ASAP.

    Thanks for your help.

    Guido
