I am getting this message lately, causing my HP Stream to restart.  As a writer, I use my laptop exclusively and the uncertainty of when this message will show up and cause me to lose what I have written has become a great inconvenience, so please, would someone walk me through the steps to stop this thing from happening again.

Hi and thanks for reaching out. My name is William. I'm a Microsoft Windows Certified Professional and Systems Administrator. I'll be happy to help you out today.

Bugcheck SDBUS_INTERNAL_ERROR refers to, in this case, the SD card reader in the laptop. You should refer to the HP and check the drivers for your specific model and see if there is an update for the card reader, Usually, you will find it under Driver-Storage in the HP site.

Alternatively, go into the Device Manager > locate the card reader (it may located under Disk Drives or Memory technology devices, for example "Realtek SD Card Reader") > right-click it > Disable > restart the computer.
