Microsoft Sudoku not saving

Since the latst update, my games are no longer being saved.  Numerous people are reporting this.

This is not specific to users, it's the update that failed.  Any idea how to get this resolved?

Microsoft finally updated status (on Dec 14)  at https://microsoftcasualgames.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360049237871.

"Due to the complexity of the issue, we anticipate a fix in early 2021"

So at least January before it is fixed.  Sigh.  Breaks my streaks of completing all challenges since I first downloaded.

    I have the same problem Starting December 3rd.  When I complete a Daily Challenge it shows up in the calendar as completed.  Then I logout and login it shows I need to do the  Daily Challenge.  I also play Microsoft Solitary and it works fine.

    I’m facing the same problem and I got stuck while playing and the games are no longer being saved. I seek help from someone and they said that they will fix the problem but it will take a few months to fix this. Maybe in January 2021, it gets fixed. The problem is complex and everyone has to wait until the next update. Also with this version, I felt that it’s slowing down the speed of my internet. I checked the speed of my internet here https://www.allspeedtest.com/ and found out that this version is a major disaster.

    In my experience this has been the case intermittently since the rollout of the new flavor of Sudoku, also I cannot play the monthly challenges on multiple devices. Each device keeps a separate monthly challenge tabulation.
