Hi all, im trying to use the scannow utility but a message in command prompt states i need to have administrator access to use it when i do have admiistrator on my account?

Please do not change any Account Settings, that advice is incorrect

You must explicitly tell Command Prompt to run in Administrator Mode

Click your Start Button, then just type cmd

From the resulting list, right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

    Hello there i have the same computer as well .

    You need to goto your account settings in the computer , and change your account to administrator.

    Even if you are the administrator, the computer has another one it can be changed ny the steps above.
