server 2016 RDWEB event ID 11

Question

I noticed that RDweb wasn't pulling down resources for a user. Upon investigating I found event id 11

RD Web Access was unable to contact <server>, which is the server that is specified as running the RemoteApp and Desktop Connection Management service. Ensure that the name of the server that is specified as running the RemoteApp and Desktop Connection Management service is entered correctly, and that the server is running and available on the network. Error code: 2147944122.

The server it is referencing is no longer in the session host pool, and the configured webserver is our gateway server. Any ideas on where I can reconfigure the deployment to look at the correct data sources? I found a doc on MS but it's for server 2008 r2. I couldn't find much else on the web regarding this issue.

Thanks for your query.
Event ID 11 was frequently being logged in the event log on the RD web access server. Can you try the method as 2008 R2 and 2012?
