why is my new 06/2020 Acer Aspire 5 laptop, which was loaded with Windows 10 Home version 1909, not updating to Win 10 version 2004?

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

All new PC's are loaded from a manufacturers image which will almost always be an old version of Windows 10

Microsoft have just released version 20h2, which is really stable (I updated 3 laptops today) you should update straight to that version, and skip 2004 . . .

Click the link below, then click 'Update Now' on that page to download the Update Assistant, then run that to immediately get 20h2 and bring your PC right up to date

    Thank you Dave, very helpful and this resolved my question and upload of the latest Win10 version.  I was challenged as to why the many Win10 upgrades was not pointing me to the most current and new version.  Thanks again.
