Brightness adjustment function not working suddenly

Hello, 

I'm currently using a lenovo ideapad S340 and the brightness function on windows 10 has completely randomly decided to stop working. I've tried everything from Device Manager and nothing seems to be working. 

Please let me know how I can fix this, any help is appreciated, thank you.

Hello,

Please refer these suggestions:

  1. Run Power troubleshooter from Settings app > Update & security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
  2. Open Device Manager (run devmgmt.msc command), try uninstalling your display adapter and then click Action > Scan for hardware changes.
  3. Update your display driver to latest version.
