Hello:

It's been a while since this problem appeared on my laptop. After a windows update, the touchpad hasn't worked and trying to update the drivers doesn't do anything at all, and at the Lenovo page there are no drivers for the touchpad. My laptop is a Lenovo Legion Y730 and the compatible id of the device is PNP0C50.

If the pad does not appear on the official Lenovo page, you can resort to third-party pages that are safe to download the touchpad driver, that is, they are reliable and safe.

You should not look for the complete pad but separately, in the specifications of the equipment box it tells you the characteristics of the driver, but look in the administrator of the equipment, in device manager, enter and look in the properties of the driver and write it down to download it independently by third-party pages, which is compatible with Windows 10.

If you cannot, in that case, install an older version of Windows 10, for example Windows 10 version 1800, to avoid the driver having conflicts.

As I already said in the post, there's no drivers on the Lenovo page for the touchpad of my laptop, and the supposed drivers I found on the internet doesn't do anything at all, the HID I2C device still appears with an error.

Most of the time it happens when an update is installed or you perform a restart of the computer it usually causes a conflict with some drivers.

If the touchpad does not work for you, optionally use a mouse to navigate on your computer and download the drivers, since the touchpad does not work.

Sometimes downloading the full package from the manufacturer's homepage doesn't work. What I recommend is to find the driver and download it independently.
