Dear ModithaFernando, regarding your problem, I recommend using Windows file repair using the commands below:

Press the Windows + X keys, select Command Prompt (Admin), copy and paste the commands below and press enter after each command.

    Sfc /ScanNow

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

    Restart the computer.

I hope this procedure helps, even more!

All right, I guess this will fix after few updates, also I want to report that when I checked my data usage there is a task called Host Processes For Windows which uses so much data. I really don't like this due to two reasons,1. I have a limited Wi-Fi connection 2. Eats up all bandwidth (high ping on games). Please reply a fix for this.

Dear ModithaFernando, possibly it may be a temporary bug, since it only appears on this device, I believe it has no problems.

Another suggestion is to reset the modem to factory settings.(If your internet requires some settings on the modem I recommend contacting your ISP to help with this issue)

I hope I helped, even more!

Hello ModithaFernando, welcome to the Microsoft community, my name is Luiz Cruz, an independent consultant and I would be happy to help you.

Depending on the modem / router you are using will have more than one wi-fi connection, what is the model of your modem or router?

You can access your router's settings and disable connections manually, usually on all modems and routers there is a step by step below it, with login and password as well.

I hope I helped, even more!
