Miracast problems

I had connected my windows 10 PC to my LG tv using miracast and while using it I had seen an option to change my screen resolution to 1920x1200 in the display settings, even though my laptop's display does not support that resolution.

I clicked on it and it surprisingly worked. However, after a few seconds the tv got automatically disconnected from my PC and now it doesn't connect at all.

I'm guessing that now the tv has saved that resolution and tries to change my laptop's resolution to that too but as my laptop's display does not support it, it prevents the tv from connecting.

you should uninstall the miracast and reinstall it so that the configuration remains by default on your PC again and there try to connect your TV from scratch, the idea is that both the TV and the PC forget the configuration that you have already done to avoid more problems
