    Awesome! Keep us posted.

Doing a repair install also would update your device as well to the latest release.

    Hi Nihar,

I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 3 year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

It looks like something has deleted the Windows update service.

as an HRESULT: Severity: FAILURE (1), FACILITY_WIN32 (0x7), Code 0x424

    for hex 0x424 / decimal 1060

    ERROR_SERVICE_DOES_NOT_EXIST winerror.h

The specified service does not exist as an installed

    service.

See if restoring the same using Registry key helps.

    If that does not,

Try doing a repair install. A repair Install keeps everything including Files and applications and reinstalls Windows.

The best and the easiest way is to use first method in the first article.
