Hi - thanks for the info

you say the drive is 512GB but C Drive is only formatted up to 269GB as shown in the pictures you kindly provided. Where is the rest? - is it unformatted or allocated to another drive letter ?

you can check in disk management

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-server...

and if the space is available you can extend the partition

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-server...

also could you run tree size at the root of C drive as administrator - that might highlight the issue as the numbers in the tree size screen shot do not add up to the totality of the disk consumed

best of luck with your issue and I hope the information is helpful - please mark as resolved if that solves your issue, or let us know if you still are having issues and I will do my best to help. I am an independent advisor helping fellow windows users in the Microsoft community.

Yea, But Hibernate is off. I installed about 60gb for apps, but disk C have 269gb. My Laptop has 8gb Ram and i don't use Virtual Memory. I also check storage usage by "ctrl + A" on C "right click" and click "properties", then result is 88,7Gb. And Lenovo not create periodic backups.  So, i don't know. Can anyone help me.

Hi - I am independent expert, let me see if I can help you with this, I like helping fellow PC folks with their issues.

Before we do anything I want to check that you have your important files backed up to somewhere other then your PC - for example OneDrive or an external drive - this is always a good idea and I want to make sure YOU do not lose anything that is important to you.

How much memory do you have installed in your PC ? Could you run treesize against the route of the c drive?

My initial thought is that your hibernation on and that this is taking up all the space

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/w...

the other option is that you have a Lenovo utility that create periodic backups - I have seen this in the past as well - check the installed utilities

Let me know if that helps

    thank you
