documents folder appeared in pictures folder

a copy of the documents folder is in my pictures folder and I cant remove it. I have tried deleting it, I tried Properties>Choose the Location tab> click on restore default, and nothing I do can get it out of pictures. any ideas?

    It does look like the official shell Documents folder with the document icon on it.

    Try both options here to restore it to default location:

    One of those has always worked in thousands of cases I've handled like this.

    I hope this helps. Based on the results you report back I may have other suggestions if necessary. If you will wait to choose whether the problem is resolved, then I will continue to help until the problem is fixed.
