allow google chrome

Question

Hi,

My son had to restore his computer and now 'Microsoft family features' is on it which is requiring me to approve his download of google chrome???

And when I follow the steps to approve nothing happens and he has to ask for permission again. 

There is nothing in family features that is allowing me to approve google chrome and thus far Microsoft family features is extremely annoying.

Help!

I need to either learn how to disable Microsoft family features (my preference, we never accepted it) or figure out how to accept the app

Did you already try to do it?

If the problem persists, change your Microsoft account to a local account in Settings>Accounts>Your info>Sign in to a local account instead.

Restart the computer, and when restarting, it changes the local account back to the Microsoft account.

Hi Jose,

Thx for your reply. The issue is that he has microsoft family on his computer and its not allowing him to access google chrome which he needs for school.    

I don't think removing him from my family will fix our problem??

• Go to family.microsoft.com.
• Log in with your Microsoft account, go to your family page, in the child's name, select More options>Remove from family group and finally confirm.
