Device showing up wrong

I have a mobile wifi (A small modem with sim slot). The problem is, when I connect it to my computer, it is showing up as cd drive. What should I do?

I'm pretty sure that's not the case. It might not be the problem of windows, but here's the case. At first it was working fine. It was a Huawei E5573s-606. It was rebranded by Airtel, telecommunications company. They were selling it as an Airtel mobile wifi. We used to use it for Airtel sim, but then, as time passed, it was not getting recharged and it was no longer being used. Since it was resold by Airtel, it was locked. I could use no sim other than Airtel sim. Since the online classes started, I started using the laptop at home for classes. I used to turn on WLAN hotspot on my phone to get internet access. Long story short, it's battery got so bad I tried switching to this mobile wifi and tried unlocking it and somehow, it's now recognized as a cd drive. I think there is cd drive installed inside it. So if you could tell me how to replace the cd drive with modem drive, it would be really helpful. I tried updating the cd rom but I could only use another cd rom drive for updation (hope you understand what I am saying). So if. by any chance, I could update cd rom drive and replace it with the device original drives, that would be helpful.
