Hi Alxi
Have you tried another web browser to see if that displays the same behavior?
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I'm not really sure where I should ask about this, but I guess this is as good of a place as any....
Since last week I've been having some problems with video streaming (YouTube, Netflix, Twitch, etc.). Whenever I start a video, it takes a long time to buffer. I have to refresh the page several times for it to start. Sometimes the videos start playing right away, but it usually doesn't take long for them to start acting up again. Everything else is working just fine, it's just the videos. Before last week everything was running smoothly, then all of the sudden this happened. It's not my internet connection, all my drivers are up-to-date, and I've performed a clean reinstall of Windows, yet the problem still persists.
Only when I start Windows in Safe Mode with Networking, the problem goes away. At least on YouTube, since all other video platforms seem to require HTML5, which doesn't seem to be active in Safe Mode. So right now I'm quite stumped. I can't figure out what it is that is causing this problem.
Here are my system specs:
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
AMD Ryzen 5 1600
16G RAM
ASUS Prime B350-PLUS
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6G
Around the same time this problem started, I replaced my RAM, updated my BIOS and installed a second hard disk. I'm pretty sure none of them are causing the problem, since I tried running the computer with the old RAM and an older version of BIOS, and the problem didn't go away.

I'm pretty sure it's not the viceo card either. I tried disabling it, and the problem didn't go away. In Safe Mode it's not active either. Besides I've downloaded all the latest drivers.
Hi Alxi
I am sorry that did not work for you, the best option then is to re-install your video card device driver from the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website . . .
I'm using Firefox.
Unfortunately that didn't work, the problem still persists.
Hi Alxi
I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .
Because the videos play okay in Safe Mode, the best first thing to try is to turn off Hardware Acceleration in your web browser . . .
How that is done depends on the web browser you are using, but here is the general method:
Click the 3 dots at the top right of your browser, then choose Settings
In the search box in settings, type hardware and search for that
You should then see the Hardware Acceleration Setting and turn that off
Restart your browser and see if the problem still exists . . .
