We can enable it by opening a CMD window with Administrator permissions and typing the following command in it:

    Bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON

We must bear in mind that if we have activated the «Secure Boot» in our Windows, this mode will be blocked and we will not be able to activate it manually using this command.

If the Secure Boot is disabled, the «Test Mode» will be enabled without problems in Windows and we will be able to see the aforementioned watermark,

You can also try to access safe mode by inappropriately turning off the surface.

The first thing we will have to do is turn off our computer completely, for which we will have to press the surface's on / off button for a long time (3-5 seconds). When it is turning on try to turn off abruptly. Proceed to turn on or restart the surface while turning on.

This will cause an error and a screen will appear indicating what action you should do, it will show safe mode.

Hello, my name is Gabriel. I hope to help you today.

    1. Press the Windows + X keys and choose Command Prompt (administrator)
    2. At the command prompt type the following command and press Enter

    bcdedit -set testsigning off

    1. Then type exit and press Enter to close the CMD console
    2. Restart the system.

After rebooting, some unsigned device driver, or signed with test certificates, may not work as expected, and you have to uninstall or update it.

    Greetings.
