Whenever I tried to update windows I recieved the error code  0xc1900204. I've already troubleshooted the windows update and I believe I meet the requirements for the update since I have a Ryzen 7 2700x and a nvidia rtx 2070 with 16gb of ram. Does anyone know how to fix the problem? I don't know where to even start.

My weekend was completely ruined. When i tried to install the update from the link you gave me it conpletely locked me out of my pc which forced me to reset it. And now it’s insanely slow and will be stuck loading for the smallest things. Thanks to that update my computer has now become nearly unusable. Thank you, for this.

I dont believe this is going to work for multiple reasons. 1.  My pc can barely open settings. Basically trying to do any action of my pc is useless. Whenever i do something theres like a chance that it’ll cause my cursor to pop up as loading and stay like that forever. I cant open taskmanager or do anything when this happens. Additionally, most times when this happens an application shows up as not responding. If you have a fix for this issue let me know.

    1. The second reason is that my family member said he cometely deletd everything with the exception of my documents. So returning to a previous version i believe is not possible. I hope you can help me with this issue as well.

If you are actually doing a Windows upgrade, would the meaning of the error mean anything?

0xC1900204 MOSETUP_E_COMPAT_MIGCHOICE_BLOCK The migration choice selected is not available (ex: Enterprise to Home)
