I have the same issue. Thanks for mentioning pointer trails.
Activating pointer trails with the shortest length setting is a decent workaround, though not ideal.

Hi everyone,
I recently bought Microsoft P3Q-00001 Wireless Display Adapter to connect one monitor wirelessly to my laptop. It connects perfectly but I have issues with the mouse pointer. I shows up like in low res, when the screen res is 1980x1080. It also behaves very odd when switching between pointer icons. I show a couple of picture and a video so you can see what I mean.

I already updated the device firmware and tried with different mouses and monitors. The only thing that kind of solves it is activating the pointer trails, but I would prefer to have a regular pointer. My setup is the following:
Monitors: LG IPSFULLHD(HDMI), LG MP59G(HDMI)
Lenovo Ideapad 720S 15"
● Processor: 7th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-7700HQ Processor (2.80GHz 6MB)
● Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64
● Display Type: 15.6" UHD IPS Glossy Multitouch (3840x2160) with integrated camera
● Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB+Intel(R) HD Graphics 630
● Bluetooth: Bluetooth Version 4.1
● Wireless: 802.11 AC(2x2)
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with this.
Adrian
