Storage Problem

the settings say I have used 90.9 GB of storage, in apps and features it says I have 57.3 GB of such. the other file types have about 3 GB added together, how has 90 GBs been used? I barely have anything on this laptop and it's brand new. I bought this laptop because it should have had a ton of storage (119 GB), so how do I only have about 30 GBs not including games and apps I have downloaded?

    Also, 119gb's, is nothing in today's age, I personally wouldn't buy a computer without 1tb, (1000gb)

    Hi AshSadly,

Good day! This is Jhakesong an Independent Advisor and I will be happy to assist you with this.

Sometimes windows can't report the exact figures specially if some of the applications installed in the computer reserve cache space on the drive. To get a better view of your hard drive's space, I suggest installing a free third party application called Tree Size. This should show you how much storage space is occupied by each items in your hard drive.

    Here's the link:

Let me know how it goes. Have a great day!
