Blue Screen Stop Code

I have a Logitech C270 Webcam.  When I try to use the Webcam with Zoom or Google Meets, my computer shuts down and I get the blue screen error message with APC Index Mismatch. I have uninstalled and installed the Logitech Webcam download several times and don't know what the issue is. The camera is attached to an additional monitor not the laptop.

    Hi Rene

Connect the webcam to a USB port on either the docking station or direct to your laptop, does your system still blue screen?

Hello Dave. Thank you for responding to my Webcam issue.  As you can see I am not very tech savy but I try!  The webcam is attached to a USB port in the Dell monitor.  My Dell pc is attached to a docking station. The docking station has the PC, two monitors and a back up drive.  I tried to copy the minidump files but I am receiving an error message that the files are not available.  Is there something else I can try?

    Rene

    Hi Rene

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

    1

Please explain what you mean by the webcam is attached to an extra monitor, do you mean a USB port on that monitor, and if so, what connection do you have form the monitor to your laptop?

    2

Please check to see if your PC is producing any minidump files, I will check those to see if they provide any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes . . .

    Open Windows File Explorer

    Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy any minidump files onto your Desktop, then zip those up

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.), then choose to share those and get a share link

Then post the link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .
