Bluetooth Code 45

Hello,

I have been using a Bluetooth keyboard so I can position my laptop screen higher up when working from home.  It stopped working abruptly mid-email, and on investigation it appears that Bluetooth is no longer connected on my laptop.  When I go through Device Manager it is showing as a hidden device, and when I click through into Properties on the Bluetooth Device it says

"Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45).  To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."

I have had no success doing this from instructions found on Google.  I have been through services.msn and set the Bluetooth Support Service to start automatically. It still doesn't appear in Device Mgmt, Action Centre, or as an option to turn on in Settings.  Can anyone help me, please?

I am running Windows 10 Home on a Lenovo ideapad 320S-141kb.

Many thanks,

Liz

Hello, I-m Betty, an independent advisor, it is my pleasure to help you today.

    Run the troubleshooter:

In the task bar write troubleshooting and in the list, you select it, then once the window is open, proceed to start the troubleshooter in Hardware and sound and follow the instructions.

You can also do the following: We open a command prompt window with administrator permissions, we launch the chkdsk /f command to rule out that it is an error on the disk.
