SD card

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my SD card is not being detected. I've spent days trying all the methods that  I could find on the Internet, including what I've found when I checked this community, with no help.

I upgraded two computers and ended up with the same problem on both. I tried the cards on a Mac without making any changes to the card, which was working with Windows 10, and the card worked.  My only conclusion is that it is some problem caused by upgrading, which might only be solved by some update to Windows itself, unless I am advised here about something that actually works.

I just tried one of my SD cards on my Dell Desktop Computer running Windows 10 Pro 20H2 and while it didn't show the first time after removing it and reinserting, it opened. See image below, mine is 80MB/s.

    -Press Windows key + X

    -Go to Device Manager

    -Expand the Universal Bus Controllers

-Look for Card Reader driver that was installed

    -Right click and Update

-Choose an old driver and use it.

Restart your pc using Clean Boot.

    1. Open the run box by pressing the Windows Key + R and type msconfig
