To remove unwanted language input methods.

Hi all,

I have a Windows 10 Home, version 20H2.

I've seen similar problems on the posts that posted 2 years ago on older version of Windows 10.

There's still nothing I can do to remove the extra input languages.

My question is how to remove those extra input methods?

I have a screenshot of it.

    Hello Baha11111,

I'm John an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I'll be happy to assist you today. I understand you want to remove extra input methods.

Please try this if it helps.

    Press Start then search Powershell

Right Click then Run as administrator

Paste the command below then hit Enter:

    $UserLanguage = New-WinUserLanguageList en-US

After that, Paste the command below then hit Enter:

    Set-WinUserLanguageList $UserLanguage

    Press Y then Exit Powershell

    Restart your computer

After restart, English (United States) will be the only language under Preferred Languages. Kindly add Chinese language again.

Kindly let me know if this helps or if you have any further concerns.

    Sincerely,

    John DeV

Thanks! I've been searching through the internet for a few hours till I've found this answer. It looks like it helped. Need a few days more to ensure because excess languages do not always appear. There was no other way to remove them as they weren't displayed in windows settings, only in the language bar.

By the way, there are no language settings in Control Panel anymore (Windows 10 Pro v2004 build 19041.928), right?
