Audio USB interface problem

For some reason my Behringer UMC22 USB interface no longer accepts input from the instrument socket.

I can use the microphone input but this produces a latency problem that is not compatible with trying to record music against a backing track

All used to work OK until recently; there is no obvious reason for this behaviour.

Anna and Carlo, thank you for your interests and offers to help.

I appear to have resolved the problem with a combination of multiple re-installs, re-downloading and installing ASIO drivers and multiple retweakings of the options within Win 10 settings.

Unfortunately I am unable to point to one specific action thzt made things work. All I know is that as soon as the system began working as expected - I stopped messing with it.

    Hi!

I am Anna, your independent advisor for today. I will be more than glad to assist you.

Sorry to know you are having issues with your computer. To better know the situation let me ask you the following:

    1. Can you try if other USB devices still works on your device.
    2. Have you already tried connecting the device to another USB port of your computer.
    3. Have you tried other audio devices such as a headset or headphone on your computer.
    4. The version and build of Windows 10 that you're using on your device. To check this, you can perform the steps posted on this link. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/whi...

We hope to hear from you.

    Thanks,

    Anna M.
