HP laptop - 14s-dq1505sa 14" Laptop - Intel® Core i7

HP Firmware 15.18.0.0(2) failed to install after installing Servicing Stack 10.0.19041.985
Error code 0x8024004c

Updates done at same time included: KB5003173, KB5001697, KB003254

Also Feature update for Windows 10 20H2 via Enablement Package - which had an error 0xc1900401 - have now removed this update. (which had disabled my Wifi, now working ok)

How cany I reinstall the Firmware update - cannot seem to Uninstall the Servicing Stack update

    Yes, Servicing Stack update can’t be uninstalled.

    You could restore system to a previous time that system didn’t install this SSU.
    Or contact HP support for help, maybe they can give you a updated firmware which is compatible with the latest Windows 10 SSU.
    Another method, degrade system to 20H2 from 21H1, after install HP Firmware 15.18.0.0(2) complete, upgrade to 21H1 again.

    Alternatively, if you have USB flash drive, use the installer option to copy the update to there and update firmware outside Windows (method 4):

    Remember, if you have BitLocker enabled you will want to disable it first during the update process or have the "BitLocker recovery key" ready.

    Buen día para todos,

    Me pasaba algo parecido, no podia actualizar un firmware de mi PC HP, lo solucione desactivando el bitlocker de mi disco C:, de esta forma logre actualizar y en el administrador de dispositivos desaparecio el error.
