Its a Dell Inspirion 15 laptop
Windows updates keeps installing the same driver every day
I recently updated to the Windows 10 version 20H2 successfully. Now I am seeing the Synaptics - Mouse - 9/19/2018 12:00:00 AM - 19.2.17.70 being installed everyday....the last three days 1/19..1/20....and 1/21...it was installed successfully all three days...Why? and how do I stop it from doing it again.
Also I just found this.... A current driver on your PC may be better than the driver we're trying to install. We'll keep trying to install. It does not say what driver it is trying to install and I did not find any failed updates when I view the history. It does show a link for optional updates...this is what I see from that link
I honestly don't know which I need and as far as I can tell everything is working ok
Any idea as to what is going on and how can I fix this.

Looks like It's trying to install quite an old driver from synaptics, can you post your device's brand & type?
Installing the latest driver from the vendor might resolve the issue.
