Hello there,
”Starting with Windows 10, version 1607, you can move from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 10 Enterprise more easily than ever before—no keys and no reboots. After one of your users enters the Azure AD credentials associated with a Windows 10 Enterprise E3 license, the operating system turns from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 10 Enterprise and all the appropriate Windows 10 Enterprise features are unlocked. When a subscription license expires or is transferred to another user, the Windows 10 Enterprise device seamlessly steps back down to Windows 10 Pro.”
Q: in this hybrid scenario, if we assign license, any action user has to do , like go to connect in the settings and enter the credentials
Work group machine outside of network
A: -->For Microsoft customers with Enterprise Agreements (EA) or Microsoft Products & Services Agreements (MPSA), you must have the following:
Windows 10 (Pro or Enterprise) version 1703 or later installed on the devices to be upgraded.
Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) available for identity management.
Devices must be Azure AD-joined or Hybrid Azure AD joined. Workgroup-joined or Azure AD registered devices are not supported.
Q: If already the Windows activated with product key and we are applying E3 Windows 10 and then remove E3 windows 10 , will the windows will be activated with old license or it'll be not activated ?
A: --> When a user’s subscription expires or is transferred to another user, the Windows 10 Enterprise device reverts seamlessly to Windows 10 Pro edition (after a grace period of up to 90 days).
