Hello CraigTofNewy,
I'm John an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I'll be happy to assist you today. I understand you have a problem with Bluetooth not working. When was the last time it worked properly?
Please try this first if it helps.
- Many laptop computers have a hardware switch or key combination to turn Bluetooth on and off. Look for a switch on your computer or a key on your keyboard.
- Please try to turn off Fast startup
Press Start then search Control panel
Under View by > select Small icons
Select Power Options
On the left side, Click "Choose what power buttons do"
Click "Change settings that are currently unavailable"
Under Shutdown settings > Turn off fast startup
Power off the system then pull the power cable from the laptop wait for 15 minutes
Power back on
- Please try to visit first your manufacturer's Support Page. Download and install the latest Bluetooth driver for your device.
