Windows update causing BSOD and reverting

So I have built a new computer and installed windows through the usual method of bootable USB and everything went perfectly. I’ve had this issue where upon trying to install a windows update I get the x000021a error. I know this is due to windows update failing and it’s pretty easy yet annoying to revert. I’ve done an Sfc scan and while it said it repaired corrupt files, upon trying the update again I get the same error. (This is windows cumulative update KB4586876). Any ideas on what I can do to fix this? Ive also tried DISM which strangely sees no errors, but when I go to restore health, it gives me an access denied error (running CMD as admin). The computer works perfectly fine on this version of windows, and with all new hardware, I dont see why there would be any issue. Any help with this would be great. Thanks!

Hardware:

AMD ryzen 5800x

32 GB 3600 DDR4

Samsung SSD

Reused seagate harddrive from previous build

Hi SimplyLime

Okay, your system is fully up to date, so, seeing as it is that KB4586876 update that is causing the issues, the best option is to not install it . . .

Download the tool from the link below, run that, in the list of pending updates, select that update and click 'Hide' that will stop windows from attempting to install it:

    Hi SimplyLime

Your minidump files just indicate memory (RAM) errors which is non-specific and can have many causes

Click your Start Button, type winver and hit Enter

On the resulting dialog, what Version No of Windows 10 are you running, is that 2004 or 20h2??

    Hi SimplyLime

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

Please check to see if your PC is producing any minidump files, I will check those to see if they provide any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes . . .

    Open Windows File Explorer

    Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy any minidump files onto your Desktop, then zip those up

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.), then choose to share those and get a share link

Then post the link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .
