Disney Magic Kingdoms Progress When Reinstalling App

Hi,

I'm having a problem with the Disney Magic Kingdoms game which I am playing on my Windows 10 PC. The Gameloft support guys told me to reinstall the game.

I've connected my game via the Connect section in the Options screen with my Microsoft Account. From what I've read, this should keep my game progress in the cloud.

How do I make sure that when I uninstall the game completely and then reinstall it, I will continue where I left off and the game won't assign me a new user ID and me starting from scratch?

Should I first log in to my Microsoft Account, and then whilst logged in, install the app? Will this make sure my progress is saved?

We understand the concern as you would like to reinstall the game and want to know if the game progression will be retained.

In this scenario, we would like to inform you that once you install a game and sign-in with the Microsoft Account and play the game and later reinstall the game, then you need to sign-in with the same Microsoft Account to retain the game progression where you left. So make sure that you have logged in to game before reinstalling the game.
