I formatted my laptop to rid it of all personal info and now can't login.  I tried my pin and also my microsoft login to no avail.  Ithought that when I formatted it, I input pin #: 12345 but that did not work either.  So now I can't axxess the computer.

Windows 10 is now larger than a DVD so you need a USB stick of 8GB or better.

You can get the Installation ISO by downloading the Media Creation Tool, read all the instructions.

Bad wording; "format".  I actually reset Windows 10 which removed all personal data and restarted the laptop (which is like formatting and reinstalling win 10which is why I used the format word).  When it opened up to the lock screen, the picture comes up, then the box to enter the pin opens up.  At that time I entered the pin I setup when resetting Windows which was 12345.  got error incorrect pin so I tried my old pin, then my microsoft password.  All came up with error.  Hope this is better clarification.

When you formatted you removed everything.  Did you reinstall Windows 10?

Are you getting a lock screen and then a Sign-on screen?

    More info is needed.
