my webcam suddenly developed an image-obscuring glare a few months ago after a year of flawless operation.  I don't have any direct light nearby that would cause a glare, and i cleaned the lens, to no avail.  any suggestions would be appreciated!

    Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

    You can try to unplug and replug the camera. You can also try it on other device.

    I suggest trying to check updates first by going to settings > Windows Updates. Install any pending updates you may find.
