    Good Day Helen,

I appreciate your time getting back to this thread, you can send me as well a screenshot on what do you see on your printer settings for me to have a better visual , some printer settings may vary on the manufacturer.

Before you print , is there a chance for you to click like scaling on font size before you print?

i'll look forward for your response, so that we can further proceed, we can also wait for the updates from HP what is their recommendation.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.

Hi Carlo, firstly, let me apologize for not getting back to you before this. I had to wait a few days for HP support to get back to me, and as I am elderly (and feeling my age) the printer problems were in the 'too hard basket' to tackle!  HP thought it was an 'outlook' problem.  Lady luck was with me yesterday, as I kept trying this and that, and re-engaging the printer, and something worked!  Don't know how!

However, above and beyond all this kerfuffle, the fact that you, Carlo, were trying to help me, was quite over whelming! It was my 'Good News Story' for the week!

Thanks ever so much, once again coming to my aid, it is great to know that there are helpful IT folks in the Microsoft Community willing to help others.

Hope you have a great Christmas, and a very Happy and Healthy New Year, and do keep on helping folks who need help.  Cheers!   Kind regards, Helen

    Hi Carlo,

I am very grateful for your quick response. My new HPOfficeJet8010 doesn't give me the good choice you suggested.  I've tried and tried, but have now contacted HP support.  (At this stage they are unable to help me, so I've sent them some screen shots, and they will follow it up further).  Above all, I am so appreciative of you taking the time to try to help me out.  I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.  Cheers!  Kind regards, Helen

    Good Day HelenKennedy1,

My name is Carlo, I'm an Independent Advisor and community member like you.

I am also using Windows 10 pc. Let us work together to sort this out.

Here's the steps you can try.

When printing select "more settings" before clicking the "print button". Select "custom" scale and set it to 100 (%).

Click that from there you can select how large is the size of the font of the email you are trying print.

I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    With Warm Regards,

    Carlo T.
