Logon loop on startup.

Hi,

After a restart on my Lenovo Thinkpad t490, I entered my pin as usual.  However, after the welcome message it returned to the lock screen and did not sign on.  I restarted the computer and tried again many times, but I was never able to logon.  My operating sustem is Windows 10 pro and this has never happened before.  Please advise.

    Hi,

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    As you are unable to boot the PC to desktop, then we would suggest you to perform these methods, before proceeding, disconnect if any devices are connected to the computer except, keyboard and mouse:

    Press and hold the Shift key from the keyboard and use the mouse click on the power icon in the lock screen and select Restart. This will help you to boot the PC in WinRE mode and then click on **Troubleshoot > Advanced Option >****Startup Settings > Enable Safe Mode > follow the onscreen step.**Now when the PC boots in safe mode, try to sign-in and check if you can login.

    Let us know the results. If the issue persists, we will certainly assist you further.
