Yes, after a Windows 10 update last night, I lost ALL my Pictures (everything in the pictures folder), everything in the Documents folder, everything in the Videos folder.  Anything I can do?  Thanks for any help you can provide.  I am not restarting my computer until I hear back from you.  Art

For the future - this won't help now - it's almost ridiculously easy to rollback your computer to any time ... if you backup every day. With a daily backup, you won't have to worry about losing files, and you won't have to reinstall Windows ever again. That's peace of mind.

    For now ...

You seem to have lost or you did lose? With more information from you, we might be able to help:

    • What type of files can you not find?
    • Did anything happen that might have contributed to your present situation?

    Hi Sandra

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

Rolling back your system will generally not restore personal file, just system files and the Windows Registry

Please explain what happened before you lost your files, did you have a Windows 10 Update, and are all your personal files gone or just some files?
