Question

how do I make the display icons on my desktop smaller. I turned on my computer one day and they are huge.

I can not find the ease of access they say to use.

Do you have a mouse attached to your laptop, if so, press Ctrl on your keyboard, then scroll down on the scroll wheel on your mouse

If that does not work for you:

Right click your Desktop and choose Display Settings, what resolution is set on that page?

What is the exact Model No. of your laptop - that will be printed on a sticker on the bottom underneath casing

I have already checked these. The resolutions are still set at the recomended setting.

The icons were the right size until one day i turned on my computer and they were oversized. All the setting appear to be correct.

1. What have you done to try to resize desktop icons?

* Right-click (or press and hold) the desktop, point to View, and then select Large icons, Medium icons, or Small icons.

2. Validate the PC's Display resolution.

* Select Start > Settings > System > Display > Display resolution. Note: You should use the Recommended resolution

Right-click on a blank space on the desktop and choose View > Small icons.
